Mothers are so special, like a fine wine
Hand picked by HIM, fresh from HIS vine.
They are the roses, with a fragrance all their own
Lingering through a lifetime, until HE takes them home.
Mothers are cool breezes, blowing in the wind
Brighter than sunshine, to teach you till the end.
They are so precious, priceless gems of the earth
Flawless and beautiful, are their babies at birth.
Mothers are the rainbows, behind the dark clouds
Weathering storms, with each teardrop that falls.
They are the rains, to nourish and help you grow
Into adulthood, with all their love, they bestow.
Mothers are the heavens, moon and the stars
Lighting your way, so you don't stray too far.
They are the angels, with spiritual guiding hands
To hold and hug you, when you just need a friend.
Mothers are all seasons, mountains and streams
To advise and counsel, fulfill all your dreams.
They are the boulders, strong shoulders to lean on
Peacemakers, keepsakers, what more could you want?
Mothers are so special, they were chosen by HIM
So honor them, respect them, right to the very end.
When you lose them, your heart will surely know
You have been touched, by one of God's miracles.
